The Country Cottage is a fully self contained house with private balcony over looking the majestic Otway national park, it has a huge dining table that just cries out for fabulous dinners… All decked out in shabby chic mauves and lilacs – this cosy little place is just so lovely and homely.

The Cottage boasts a wood fire, bbq, well equipped kitchen and stereo, tv, dvd player, with over 150 DVD titles and an XBOX games console plus games. Linen is provided along with tea and coffee. The Country Cottage is perfect place to relax and unwind or to base yourself while exploring the Otways and the Great Ocean Road.

The property has rear walking access to natural rainforest and is home to many local birds and creatures such as glowworms which can be seen at night along with the vast night sky and stars you may view with our super-duper telescope, walk in the back yard to the delightful Otway Forest Park Native birds abound, kangaroos, echidnas and koalas occasionally visit.

“Our stay was everything that we wanted…it was quiet, restful, interesting, refreshing and beautiful. The service was perfectly balanced between engagingly charming and welcoming to respectful distance. The Cottage exuded olde world, olde family values with a touch of New Age panache: perfect!!! Our two young boys loved the farmyard animals and the adventure down the creek. When we asked for a little bending of the rules to accommodate a developing situation, our hosts helped us out. Mate, what more do you want? “
